Q1. I’m an individual researcher. Can I register and participate in FLARE21?

A1. Thanks for your interest very much. Currently, FLARE21 is only open to participants from institutions. We will make it fully opened in November.

Q2. Will the final leaderboard show the institution's name?

A2. We only make the ranks of the top 10 winners publicly available. For the remaining teams, the results will be presented in random order and we will send a private email to announce the rank.

Q3. My team has multiple members. Should everyone submit the signed Challenge Rule Agreement Consent form?

A3. Not necessary. Only one team member makes a participation request is enough. If your team finally ranks top3, all the listed authors on the submitted short paper will be presented on the certificate. In addition, your team members can also make participation requests and their submissions will be regarded as team submissions (<=5 times during validation phase). If more than one member makes a request, the first one will be considered as the corresponding one.

Q4. May I give up the submission after the approval of my participation?

A4. Please respect the signed Challenge Rule Agreement Consent form. You should submit a complete solution. To reduce the barriers to entry, we have created a baseline solution list and you can either provide a baseline solution or develop your own solution.

Q5. May I withdraw the submitted short paper?

A5. Please respect the signed Challenge Rule Agreement Consent form. All participants should agree that the submitted short papers can be publicly available to the community on the challenge website.
